Asus ROG Swift PG279Q - Muliple vertical gray/dim lines across the top section of monitor

Hi Everyone,

I have some strange grey (or darker dim) vertical lines that run across the top of my screen. The monitor i have is the Asus ROG Swift PG279Q. Just had it over a year now - maybe a year and half so im not sure if its still covered by warrantyth

I’ve tried swapping screens and it only appears on the one. I’ve also tried resetting the monitor to factory settings as well but it hasn’t done anything. I have also tried it on another device and I get the same issue

I have uploaded the photos – it appears there are multiple fainter of these vertical lines going across the monitor and only showing in the top under certain colours

Is there a simple fix to this or do i have to live with it or buy a new monitor again?
Don't think ill be buying any more monitors from Ausus in the future. I had Asus fully replace the monitor before due to dead pixels now this....

Did you try to change monitor cable?
What refresh rate are you using, when you get those lines?
What happens, if you change refresh rate?

Yeah, i swapped to a new cable, and tried both display port and HDMI cables
have played around with the resolution and changed the refresh rates around. Unfortunately same problem
