[SOLVED] Asus ROG x-570 E Strix

Hi,

I am wondering if the Asus ROG x-570 E Strix mobo supports Nvidia Nv link. I see it supports Nvidia SLI I just don’t know if that’s the same?

I'm fairly certain NVLink doesn't require any special hardware on the motherboard, but if it supports SLI it will support NVLink.

Unless you're doing pure compute, having multiple GPUs, whether it be SLI, Crossfire, or NVLink, is a very cost inefficient.

Thanks for the reply. It’s something I’m not going to do short term, I was thinking when the 30 series etc comes out if the 2080ti drop in price I could nv link them then

Fair enough. Just know that games at this point are pretty poorly optimized for multi GPU.
