Yea i know its a bit overkill for the motherboard (looking to upgrade soonish) but was just wondering if it would work with the 2700x out of the box or would it require some bios tinkering, thank you in advance ^^

As that is an X570 board, those boards were released with Ryzen 2000 and 3000 series cpu support out of the box so no problems there. You would only need a bios update to support something released after the board (i.e. the yet to be released Ryzen 4000 series).
