Question ASUS ROG X570-F Yellow DRAM Light, no boot/ post

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
Mainboard: Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming

RAM tested with:
  • CMH128GX4M4E3200C16
  • F4-4000C18D-64GTZR
  • F4-2400C15D-16GTZR
All I did was set DOCP in the BIOS then suddenly my PC started to act up, in various ways.
Mainly in getting BSODs and just plain turning off.

Everything I did without success:
  • Clear CMOS (with battery and shorting pins) multiple times
  • Flashback BIOS with different versions
  • Use only a single stick of RAM of the before mentioned kits
  • Remove everything but CPU and 24 pin and flush bios + cmos reset
  • Remove everything but CPU and RAM
I tried everything I could think of and everything I found on here, reddit and other forums.
The machine worked without any problems 6h ago (and weeks before).

I currently don't have the financial means to buy another MoBo/ CPU, so I am getting really frustrated after 5h of troubleshooting.
Hope someone can help.
 
BIOS Hard Reset procedure

Power off the unit, switch the PSU off and unplug the PSU cord from either the wall or the power supply.

Remove the motherboard CMOS battery for about three to five minutes. In some cases it may be necessary to remove the graphics card to access the CMOS battery.

During that five minutes while the CMOS battery is out of the motherboard, press the power button on the case, continuously, for 15-30 seconds, in order to deplete any residual charge that might be present in the CMOS circuit. After the five minutes is up, reinstall the CMOS battery making sure to insert it with the correct side up just as it came out.

If you had to remove the graphics card you can now reinstall it, but remember to reconnect your power cables if there were any attached to it as well as your display cable.

Now, plug the power supply cable back in, switch the PSU back on and power up the system. It should display the POST screen and the options to enter CMOS/BIOS setup. Enter the bios setup program and reconfigure the boot settings for either the Windows boot manager or for legacy systems, the drive your OS is installed on if necessary.

Save settings and exit. If the system will POST and boot then you can move forward from there including going back into the bios and configuring any other custom settings you may need to configure such as Memory XMP, A-XMP or D.O.C.P profile settings, custom fan profile settings or other specific settings you may have previously had configured that were wiped out by resetting the CMOS.

In some cases it may be necessary when you go into the BIOS after a reset, to load the Optimal default or Default values and then save settings, to actually get the hardware tables to reset in the boot manager. Do this BEFORE you reconfigure your custom settings so you don't have to do it twice.

Thanks for your answer!

Sadly after trying this twice the computer still won't boot/ POST.
Yellow LED stays on.

At this point I just think that either the MoBo or the CPU are bricked. (MoBo is more likely I guess)
 
Did you just build this system or was it built and running for a period of time with no problems and then only after enabling DOCP did the problems begin?

Did you purchase all of the hardware new or was anything used when you bought it?

I would recommend that you start by removing the CPU and checking for bent pins.

The PC was running fine for 1 1/2 years, problems started after enabling DOCP.
All the parts were purchased new.

I already did that, whilst I reseated the CPU, didn't see any bent pins.
