Asus Router does not have a valid IP configuration

Our Asus RT-AC3100 router's internet LED is red and any device that connects to it shows "No Internet Connection" and google won't work. Windows 10 troubleshooting states "Wi-Fi doesn't have a valid IP configuration". Connecting my PC directly to the router through ethernet doesn't get rid of the issue. Tried restarting the modem and router and using "ipconfig" commands in Windows Command Prompt to no avail. Our Xfinity modem's Wi-Fi (does also function as a router but it's Wi-Fi is slow) does work, but the router's doesn't. Every two or three weeks this problem arises for a day or two.

Solution
You should log in to your router's IP using 192.168.1.1 using a web browser of your choice and connected off the first LAN port on your router. Username and password should be under the router(on a sticker) or in the manual/packaging) and input the IP address that you've received from your ISP. You will need to call up your ISP to find the numbers for input.
