ASUS RT-68 or Netgear N7000?

Hello. What do you think about this routers? I've heard a lot about RT-68 stability, but what about Netgear?

I'm looking forward for WiFi range and performance. Especially 2.4 GHz. Thanks.

Asus RT 68 should be better. The router should have better 2.4 and AC performance.

I would take Asus RT 68 over linksys wrt1900ac. 2.4 ghz performance of rt 68 it's own class (and more expensive Asus routers).

Yes, but WRT1900AC has better hardware, 1.3 GHz vs 800 MHz CPU, and 512 vs 256 MB of RAM.

You need to avoid chasing the marketing numbers. Most are only good for bragging rights for those who post their specs on their forum posts.

A older asus n66u is the second fastest router.

Still you have to be careful about number that are this close this only represents testing in their testing location with their testing equipment.

Do not fall into the trap of buying something just because it has bigger numbers....do bigger rims on your car really make it go faster ?
