Hello, lately I started a new business while trying to fish college. I buy Amazon and Costco mostly returns. I only have about 10% of the products not in brand new condition. I have a electronics shop that I go to to get stuff repaired when I do need it and split the profits with him. Sometimes I feel like I could have saved time and money if I could test simple stuff myself. So, today he gave me back the ASUS RT-AC56U. He told me it needs a new power adapter. I have an Ebay store with 100% positive feedback and I never want to waste my customers time and money or mine.

My question to you guys is, is there a tester I could use that has multiple tips and voltage protections so that I could maybe use it on tablets, laptops, and other small electronic devices without overloading and able to fit in each power adapter outlet on the device?

There are generic Laptop power adapters that are sold with multiple tips. Radio Shack used to have "wall wart" transformers that had a voltage selector switch and multiple tips. It might be the case that you should cut the tip end off bad power adapters -- label them well for voltage, and polarity and just use a variable bench power supply.
