ASUS RT-N12E problems.

Hi!

I've been using the ASUS RT-N12E for about six months now and I've been having huge problems. After a certain uptime the router will just stop transmitting any wireless or LAN connectivity, sometimes it works to reboot the router through the software, sometimes it helps to reboot with the power button, sometimes it does not work at all and I pretty much have to set it up from scratch or factory reset the router.

I have the latest firmware right now, and I've tried numerous fixes. I have also read online that there are more users with this problem. I've decided to give it one more chance before I just buy a new one...

Does anyone have a work for this? And would the DD-WRT for RT-N12, RT-N12B or RT-N12C work?

I'm inclined to try anyways.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and change it.

And if funds will allow it, buy a spare router so if one starts glitching you can quickly connect a different one to see if the router is to blame (nine times out of ten it is). I have two spare ones in my cupboard. Bought two while I had a bit of spare cash, knowing that internet access is a must for me & my wife.
