I found an amazining deal on an Asus RT-N56U last black friday and when I started it up I got 1/3 more range and speed than my old Linksys e2000. Soon after I discovered my devices would randomly lose their connection and I'd have to rejoin the net work. I thought this problem was resolved becuase I realized my 5Ghz network and 2.4Ghz network had the same name so I just turned off the 5Ghz because its not a very refined technology yet. I thought everything was fine until i saw the problem come up again but not as often, all devices, except the ones directly pluged into the router, would lose connection and I'd have to reconnect. I hoped that the firmware updates would fix this but it never got completely fixed. This sounds like its a problem where the router constanly reboots itself, but i don't think so because the devices directly pluged in don't lose connection. Is this a problem with, the specific router, asus routers, asus firmware, or is my specific router defective???
