ASUS RX570 Strix instal issue

Got a new 570 for my daughters computer. Wouldn't install so I tried it on mine and I am still having issues.

The card is not being recognized by the motherboard/ driver package therefore will not install. Both 17.11.1 and earlier version do this. The card is firmly seated in the PCI-e slot. The power cable is hooked up and the card is doing the heartbeat led thing, but fans are not spinning. Device manager shows only the on board graphics, even after scanning for new hardware.

16GB Gskill DDR3 1600
Seasonic 520 watt
Win 10 64 bit.

If it won't get recognized in both setups , sounds like a card issue.

Now I am getting a 175 unsupported hardware error, but 10 still doesn't see it. RMA either way. Thanks.

Did you uninstall the previous drivers? By doing a clean DDU uninstall. Especially on your PC, since you're probably using a different card?

Has to be the card , hopefully new one does the trick.

Uninstalled the drivers and downloaded the new ones. The power supply provides the rated wattage and the connector is a six plus 2. Yup, its the card. Thanks again for the confirmation.
