ASUS S200e Battery Fix

My ASUS S200e, internal battery, says "No Battery Detected". I've had it for two years, it's worked perfectly fine, then the battery stopped working this past summer, and now it won't hold a charge. How do I fix this, aside buying a new battery?

Hi,

There are only few things you can do about that issue.
1. Try reseating the connection of the battery to the motherboard. This requires you to open the back of the laptop in order to reseat the battery.
2. If these will not work also do try to uninstall/reinstall the "microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery" from Device Manager.
- If all these will not work the only solution would be to replace the battery itself.
