I recently purchased this build

Amd Fx 8350

Asus Sabertooth 990fx r2.0

G.skill Ripjaws x
DDR3-1866
Timings 9-10-9-28
Model#(F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL)

Now my question is will the motherboard support this ram?
Ive looked at the compatible ram for the mb here are the g.skill listed for 1866

F3-14900CL10Q2-64GB
F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL
F3-14900CL9Q-16GBZL

I wanted the 1866 speed and could pass up the 8gb deal. Plus didnt have enough to spare for 16gb. Im really hoping this works. I get everything in a few days. But just to calm my nerves wanted to ask.

They will work.
At default settings, they will probably run at 1333.
You'll have to adjust the settings in BIOS. 1600 would be OK in my opinion.

Should be no problem at all. Manually input DRAM frequency, timings, and voltage in BIOS, or enable DOCP/EOCP performance profile. Once that is done, the system should be stable with the memory operating at the rated specifications.
