Before I go into the problem, I'll post what I have in the computer:

EVGA Supernova 850GS PS
Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 motherboard
AMD FX9590 black edition w/Cooler master liquid cooling system
Gskill TridentX 2x8GB memory
EVGA GT740 Superclocked video card
Ocz Vertex 460 SSD HD
Phantom NZXT case

I bought all of this 5 months ago at the same time so they are all brand new components. Besdies the normal issues with building your own, everything worked fine up until this morning. The computer had shut off sometime in the night. When I turned it on this morning, it came up to the BIOS screen and said CPU fan error, beeped one long and 3 short beeps and shut down. All subsequent starts resulted in the computer just shutting down after a few seconds. Pressing the directkey button starts it back up again but it will not go into the BIOS screen. It just shuts down again. The memory button does the same. None of the onboard LEDS remain on either.

I have tried the following:
-Removed and reseated everything on the board. Still won't post
-Starting with only one memory stick at a tiime. Still won't post
-Swapped video cards with a known good one. Still won't post
-Removed the battery and reset the BIOS. Waited about 30 minutes and restarted. It will start to post but then beeps and shuts down again.
-Disconnected the CPU fan connector altogether since its water cooling and doesnt control the fan anyway. Still won't post.
-Removed it from the case and hooked up just the video card, HD, power supply and CPU cooler. Still won't post.

Naturally, everything is out of warranty so before I go throwing parts at it, I would like to see if anyone else has any suggections.

Ok so I RMA'd the CPU to AMD and the MB to ASUS. I received new ones. AMD was great with the RMA. They paid for shipping and let me know every step of the way. ASUS on the other hand sucked. I had to pay for shipping and only got an update when they shipped it with no tracking number either. I installed both of them with the same exact issue. Turns out that the Cooler Master liquid cooling has failed. The CPU is heating up too fast and the MB is shutting it down to prevent damage. The Sempron works because its only a single core and doesnt heat up that much. I installed a Zalman air cooler and the computer starts up and runs fine. The only problem now is that the FX9590 is a severe heat problem waiting to happen and runs really hot with the cooler. Im RMA'ing the liquid cooling so that shoudl fix the issue.

Im having to nurse it along until AMD decides whether or not they're going to replace the cooler. I've just got my old Thermaltake cooler on it. It works but I have to watch the temps.

If i was you i would go with a custom water loop and the do your o.c The cooler that comes with the chip only works nice at factory settings. ( that is when u get a new one) i got my 9370 to 5.1 HZ and was getting a bit up there in temps. All in all you shouldent even have to o.c. that chip, any thing out there isent going to use 100 of all 8 cores. well i havent found any thing out there yet, i run alot of programs when in game or even out of game and have no problem.

Yeah I've been doing some reading on coolers and the closed loop style isn't very effective at all. I don't even bother O.C. this processor at all yet. Maybe later on when I get a decent cooler installed.
