[SOLVED] Asus sabertooth problem

Hello i have asus sabertooth z97 mark 1 and i need help the only way I can get my pc to boot is to have my ram in the farthest 2 slots (empty, empty, ram, ram) when i try to have my ram in the 2nd and last slot the pc either turns off and on or it sits still with a red light which i can't figure out what means i really want to get this fixed cause i wanted to sell my pc and when I have my ram together you can tell there is definitely some type of problem which will not work for selling thanks for reading my post I hope someone has a solution.

1. Check user manual, maybe some Dimm slots must to be used first.
