When I boot up I get a beep, but my video doesn't display. I've taken everything out of the case and breadboarded the system and then it works fine. As soon as I put it back in, one beep like its going to post, but no video. I've looked at the standoffs and even removed a couple that looked a little sketchy on the back of the board to see it thats the issue. ASUS tech thought it was my CPU cooler touching my RAM, but it isn't. I ran it with the cooler removed anyway and that didn't help. Any of ideas?

CPU: Intel i7 4820K
RAM: G. Skill ripjaws z 4 x 4gb

Have you tried using the CPU on board graphics with your gpu off the board? This may tell you if graphics are indeed being output. If so then I would lean towards either faulty PCI slot or the pcb on the gpu being at fault. The most likely fault would be a short but having removed the board and checking the standoffs this would be a non starter. Are you sure all your standoffs are in the correct positions for the board or that maybe an extra one has been put in by mistake?

Yeah. Sorry. I should have stated I have already seen that post and went through it. No dice there.

Oops. I hit the "Solved" button, but it is not. Don't know how to undo that.
Anyway. It doesn't look like my MOBO has a monitor output.

I know this may sound obvious, but have you updated the BIOS to the latest version? I had a similar problem with this mainboard and i7 chip. Updating the BIOS via USB solved it for me.

Yeah. did that a couple times. After numerous tests I've just gone ahead and RMA the board. Hopefully the replacement will give me an easier time.
