I have two systems with two different motherboard:

Intel Asus Maximus Hero 12
AMD Asus Dark Hero

Just a quick question:

There's two installers sometimes when I'm installing drivers for my Asus motherboard. There's the asus setup or just the normal setup, both are exe application files. In the past sometimes when I used the Asus setup for the audio it didn't install properly for some reason and I end up installing from the normal setup exe application. My new motherboard is the Asus Dark Hero and Asus Maximus 12, so I'm wondering which is the driver setup I should be running from the two. Thanks

Asus Dark Hero - drivers for this look normal, no Asus setups I see unless they hiding in the driver packs.

Asus Maximus 12 - driver descriptions look normal here too

in the past I know Asus have renamed drivers to be called Asus when really they are realtek, most of the time they would do this for lan drivers, but in both the boards above they have Intel who might not let them change the packages as much.

I think main difference between 2 might be labels, the Asus versions might have Asus in them whereas the default drivers might not say who made them.
