ASUS Striker Extreme vs ABIT IN9 32X-MAX

I need advice with two MBs ASUS Striker Extrem and ABIT IN8 32X-MAX, they both with SLI 680i, I cannot decide which one is beter, don't care about price, can someone post commend.

Even though the ABIT IN9 32X-MAX Wi-Fi motherboard has an extensive pros list, it is let down by a few major key points such as poor overclocking and price. While it’s cheaper than something like the ASUS Striker Extreme by around $70 AUD (about $54 USD), if you’re spending that much money you’re probably better off spending a little more. While it has improved features and extras over the reference design, is it really spending an extra $80 AUD (about $60 USD) on the ABIT motherboard? That’s up for you to decide and it depends greatly on your overclocking requirements but this time around your money might be better spent elsewhere on a different brand of nForce 680i motherboards.

If you look you can find pretty much any pov on either board.
The Striker certainly isn't problem free either & is also known as the Strikeout ...

abit are working on the BIOS to improve overclocking.

I read a review somewhere which explained the differences between Asus Striker Extreme and Asus P5N32-E SLI. The conclusion was that they are perfectly identical except for:

- $100 more for the Striker
- some largely useless frills

and they highly recommended going for the P5N instead of the Striker.

You may want to consider the P5N32-E SLI too...

Since Asus SE came out i had no problems with it only when the board came with bios version 302 the overclocking was not that great. Since 701 bios version came out no problems with overclocking. Currently running 1002 no complaints. Which ever board you pick you will be fine unless its doa.

i have the srtiker extreme and i must say i didnt have any type of issue im running windows vista 64 it overclocks so easy and rock solid performance, maybe its sound unfair since i have one but i had the same question before, after many weeks of reading i went for the striker extreme and im 100% satisfied
