ASUS STRIX 1080 ti OC frustrations

I can't seem to OC the ASUS 1080 TI in SLI past +25 on the core clock. Anything above that crashes the cards. Any thoughts? Can anyone help or am I just stuck. I have seen many vids online of people with the same card being able to OC these cards to +100 on the core clock, so I guess I am a little confused unless those results are fabricated

Some cards overclock better than others. What is you actual boost clock under load? My best stable overclock on the same card is +45 on core and +350 on memory. Under load my boost clock will go as high 2050mhz.

I have tried everything including adding little by little and all the way to 100% using GPU TWEAK II

Just super frustrated with it. I am avid overclocker

I have even backed of my CPU overclock to test and still same issues

Intel i7 7700k, Kraken X62, ASUS STRIX OC 1080 ti SLI, Asus Maximus IX Formula MOBO, GSKIL RGB 32GB

Its actually really weird. Sometimes it will work at +45 if I want to push

Have you tried disabling SLI and testing how well they overclock individually? One might just might be a overclocker. From what I have seen real world stable overclocks seems to be around 2038 to 2050 unless you get really lucky.
