Asus Strix 970 vs XFX R9 390?

Hey guys I'm currently deciding between these 2 graphics cards and I dont know which one to choose. I cannot choose any other model/brand so XFX R9 390 and Asus R9 390 is the only option. My power supply is a Seasonic S12II 520W which can run the XFX 390 just fine (I plan to upgrade in the future). Which one should I get?

From the benchmarks and reviews I have looked at the R9 390 is the better GPU. I also read that the Sapphire is the best R9 390 but can't say for certain as I have never benchmarked them myself.

Its a toss up they tend to trade blows and the 4GB issues with the 970 isnt really a problem, it mainly comes down to preferance, for example, theres nothing wrong with Radeon, but i prefer my 970.

The rR 390 is the better card even the R 290 and 970 trade blows in benches but the R 390 Has more mem and more enhanchments.

R9 390 beats the 970 by a small to moderate margin. The 390 is definitely the better buy. It is also cheaper, but only by $1. Its also newer and has 8 gigabytes of VRAM instead of 4 gigs(3.5). Even though it doesn't benefit you, it feels good for bragging rights.
