Asus Strix 980 vs Asus strix 970 sli?

Hey guys i currently have a 2 crossfired asus radeon 7770s and i want a upgrade im running 3 monitors and 4800x900 so which of these would give me the best bang for the buck and some room for upgrading my monitors in the future.

Two 970s will perform better than one 980, there is no question about that. I think two 970s in SLI is always a better price/performance than one 980. However, 900p is not too high of a resolution for these cards (even with the three monitors) so I think either or will do, this comes down to personal choice. Save a bit of money for one 980 or get two 970s for some more money and quite some more performance.

I am no expert but I own two asus 970 astrixs in sli and im very happy. I sore more depth in the graphics. for example im running 5760 by 1080 three monitors, and the hills in the back ground breath taking on farcry 4. I was running three monitors on one card then upgrade to two. you do notice the difference. hope this helps.
