I recently got a new sytem

Asus B550-E Gaming Wifi
Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB (2x16GB)DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V AMD Optimised Memory- Black, CMT32GX4M2Z3600C18
Ryzen 5 5600X
Coolermaster Hype 212 Evo V2
WD Black 1TB PCIE 4 M.2
Corsair RM1000x PSU

Updated the BIOS using Biosflashback using an usb flash drive (MBR) renamed file as instructed. got the blinking light and lasted for approx 5mins or less.

The LED on the IO panel and the lights up as soon as the physical switch at the back of the PSU is turned on
When I press the power button on the case it does not turn on
There is no Qcode no leds even the fans do not work.
I used another PSU from my older system RM1000 but I got the same thing.

I may tear it down to the bare bones out of the case to troubleshoot and isolate.
I got so tired that my brain is not working.
I may have missed something so I would appreciate things I can check coming from you guys

Yes it is- now I also checked the tech specs of my RAM and it does not seem to support AMD B550 but rather AMD X570- so now my Dilemma would be to buy a compatible RAM Stick or an X570 board - whichever is cheaper

I did not realize that the B550 and X570 use different corsair sticks

on Corsairs site :
CMT32GX4M2Z3600C18 - supports X570 | the one I bought

CMH32GX4M2D3600C18 - supports AMD 500 Series,AMD X570

Given with my work I am only to continue this on weekends -
I did remove the board and strip it down to bare - cpu mobo psu - to no luck the board would not fire up.

I have used both RM1000 and RM1000x PSU and tried both type 4 and type 3 (8 pin for cpu ) and not the PCI 6+2. I also made sure that is plugged to the PSU where it says cpu 4+4
When I press the power switch on the PSU the LEDs on the IO and chip set lights but when I ground the leads to power up the board, I only hear a small click sound from the PSU and nothing lights up no fans from the cpu would spin.
Is it time to contact vendor at this time?

I finally got the PC working.

The wierd thing is when the 4PIN EPS and the 8PIN EPS is plugged, the system will not post.

When I left just the 8PIN it posted

Also the RAM Dominator I purchased initially worked fine even though it is not listed in the QVL
