ASUS Strix GTX 970 8-Pin Power Connector

I just bought the ASUS STRIX GTX 970, and I only see the 8-pin connector on it. Am I missing something? I've got two PSU's in my system (Thermaltake 750W ToughPower) and a second 500W OCZ left over from the old 8800GTX days when I was running them in SLI. Both PSU's have two 6-pin PCI-Ex connectors. It shouldn't be an issue to run the 970 off my main 750W PSU, right? I will be running 3 displays in NVSURROUND 5760x1080 on it. Is there a cable adaptor I can get ahold of for it? The only 8-pin power cables I have are for the CPU power. I was planning to run a second card (GTS450) for a separate standalone display on the 500W PSU which has the 6-pin connector on it.

it must have four 6+2 pin power connectors

rockie: Unfortunately, mine isn't modular. Must be an older model.

I read in another forum where guys were saying don't worry about it, just connect the 6-pin connector and it should work fine. I'll give it a whirl.

If the PSU is older and only has 6 pin PCIe power connectors then you can buy an adapter from 6 pin to 8 pin.
