I just bought a 970 from asus and it works fine ingame and no performance is lost, but when im reading the tempertures it says 50-60 on idle and when i play i does not go over 65. when i play arma 3 on ultra it only runs 17% of the card, which i dont think is normal since arma 3 is quite a demanding game. i had this issue with my other GPU (MSI GTX 660 TI) so its gonna be motherboard related. ive bought a Asus Z97 Pro some mounts ago, and it worsks fine, and i did update the bios. im feeling like this: i know it works behind the scenes, but i cant see an actual number on temp and performance percentage. I tryed to put my friends Gigabyte 770 in and it worked perfect without the temp hitting 60 when playin arma on ultra, but idle on 30.

Any 1 having this problem? and how to solve it. Thanks!

Not going over 65 is great (means the fans and heatsink are working), but idling in the 50s not so much. verify a couple of things. First and foremost it has a sticker on the back-plate that you have to remove (i know you probably did, but sometimes with the excitement we have to install a new gpu we forget) remove that sticker if you haven't already. aside from that check how the airflow is circulating inside the case. mine idles in the low 40s and doesn't go above 65 to 70.
