Question Asus strix soar surround

I have an Asus strix soar and I have 2.1 speakers. If I connect two other pair of speakers will it work as a suround speaker system? Does it need something else to work for that?

Im not an expert, but I dont think it will be surround.

The card saying it's surround capable. I don't know either. Will it perform as the card say?
