Guys, I am still confused by the explanation of the installation of the connector fan in this mobo asus manual. Can you please explain the purpose of each point listed?
1. The CPU_FAN connector supports the CPU fan of maximum 1A (12 W) fan power.

2. The EXT_FAN connector supports 2 of 5 thermal sensor sources.

3. To install more fans, refer to section 2.1.8 Expansion card installation for details.

4. For better Q-Fan functions, we recommend using 4-pin PWM fans when you connect powerful fans (1A or above) onto the H_AMP_FAN connector.

5. Ensure to disable Q-Fan functions if you want to connect powerful 3-pin DC fans (1A or above) onto the H_AMP_FAN connector.

6. Connect the fan of your water cooling kit to the AIO_PUMP connector.

Respect is given..thanks before

1) The CPU_FAN header is used to control the fan on the CPU cooler. This fan header, by default, responds to the CPU temperature.

2) The EXT_FAN header is used to connect the Asus Fan Extension card, and cannot be used without that card. If you have a ton of fans, this is useful.

3) The Fan Extension Card can be used to control 3 more fans, and it also allows you to plug in 3 more thermistors (those thermistors must be bought separately). You must connect the FEC to the EXT_FAN port in order to use it, and then you need to find a place to mount it. It should mount to any unused 2.5" drive bay.

4) If you're using seriously expensive and overpowered fans, you should plug them into the H_AMP_FAN connector. These include the higher power...

5) You cannot use fan control with very high power fans (See #4) if they do not have 4-pin PWM connectors. It could fry the fan control circuitry for that fan header.

6) The AIO_PUMP header is used for AIO water cooler pumps. Those pumps must be run at full speed, and that port is set up for them by default. It can be reconfigured, though. If you aren't using an AIO water cooler, ignore it. If you also have too many fans, then I can walk you through setting it up for a fan instead of a water pump.
