ASUS Tablet Encryption Unsuccessful

Turned on my ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 today, and got a message saying encryption unsuccessful.I've tried pressing the little reset button and doing a Factory reset, by pressing the power button and the down volume button at the same time. Both were unsuccessful. I would like like any suggestion on how to fix this problem.

Did you turn the tablet off before doing the Factory Reset? If so, what messages - if any - appeared on the screen?

I got a message on the screen saying encryption unsuccessful on start up. When I tried doing a factory reset it failed also. Even when i plug the tablet into the computer it doesn't recognize it.

I'm afraid that you didn't answer my question. I was trying to estabish that you followed the correct procedure when doing the factory reset (I've no reason to suppose you didn't, but it helps to eliminate that possibility.)

I did power the tablet off first tried it several times, still the same result and encryption message.

In that case I can only suggest that you contact Asus customer support. It sounds as if your device is faulty.
