Asus TM-AC1900 won't connect to WAN

I recently picked this router up to replace my old(er) Linksys E3000. No matter what I try, I can't get it to successfully connected to my broadband connection. I happen to be on Verizon FIOS using an Actiontec as a bridge. The Linksys connects flawlessly.

I reset the router to factory defaults, tried cloning the Linksys Mac (which shouldn't be necessary as it isn't required for the Linksys), changed the default IP address to be the same as the Linksys (again I don't know why this would make a difference) and half a dozen other things, all to no avail.

The WAN light on the router shows mostly as solid blue with some blinking (similar to what the LAN light is doing).

Any suggestions?

Have you rebooted your fiber converter/modem? The modem and router have to negotiate an IP address (unless static and then you need to configure that in the asus).
