Run a chkdsk on the ssd see what it has to say.Western digital 1 TB SN530 NVME.Following a sudden shutdown while booting owing to unknown battery discharge, a few days ago, the SSD has been acting weird. That is the reason for upgrade.

Was said install revision the latest, from Microsoft? An older revision can cause issues, as I found out the hard way, when I first went Ryzen.I did clean install on an UEFI image from my USB drive.
