For some reason my Asus tuf gaming X570 plus doesn’t see my Radeon 5700 xt.
I have ryzen 7 3700x

It works in the second slot but for some reason doesn’t work in the first. I tried finding it in device manager, wasn’t there. I also when into bios to see if I can disable on board or change the pcie to the primary but there is no option what so ever. I also went into the manual and there’s an option called “Nb configuration” which contains all the pcie stuff but for some reason it doesn’t show it in the bios. I’m just confused because the board is specificity for amd. Is it not compatible or something? The gpu works because I tested it in another machine so I don’t know that problem.

Solution
There is no on board graphics, so it makes sense there's no option to disable it.

The board is certainly compatible with any gpu, so compatability is also a non issue.

Do you happen to have another gpu you could test in that slot. It's possible the board has a dead slot and you will want to start the rma process.

While you likely wouldn't see any performance difference using the second slot, there's little reason it shouldn't work in the first.
