Question ASUS TUF Gaming Z490 Plus Bios Update Issue

Hi all,
I’m new to the forum. I just completed my first build today and starting to set everything up.

i7-10700K
TUF Gaming Plus Z490 Mobo
G.SKILL 32GB 2X16 D4 3200 Trident Z RGB
Intel 660p 1TB NVMe
EVGA 2080 Super

I am trying to update the BIOS. I full formatted a USB drive for “Fat32”. When I try to flash the bios I get an error that it’s the wrong bios file.

I tried the the 1st and 2nd Newest setting. Does anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong? I’m a novice when it comes to this.

Also, I’m trying to get the full speed off the ram, but it just boots into safe mode. The XMP profile doesn’t cut it. I appreciate your time and help!

Let's start with the BIOS version you're running right now on that new motherboard.

0321, 0602 or 0806?

By the way this is the first time I'm helping someone with a Comet Lake CPU

It came with 0321.

I’m a novice, but definitely not an idiot. I’m usually able to figure all this stuff out by researching it. It just seems too new for me to find solid info. I was trying to see if it had a specific USB port to use, but couldn’t find anything in the manual.
