So recently I've bought and used the asus tuf fx505dd model (I think it's similar with the dv or the dt counterparts with difference in the gpu & cpu SKU), but I've had this weird issue where before I upgraded the storage from just the hard drive to ssd the battery life was around 5-6 hours when used in battery mode for school work and when I upgraded the ssd in the asus service center the battery life when in battery mode with the same tasks can only go barely for 3 hours (for further context the service center was awful, they erased the whole data I've got inside the hard drive, so it's like starting over again).
Any ideas what happened? Or is the battery is broken? I rarely use the laptop for gaming and after done using I never left it in idle / sleep / etc, I just shut it down when not in use.

Thanks in advance

Don't use asus software! it's mostly bloat or doesn't work (EZ update). use clonezilla to clone the HDD -> SSD. SSD should use less power than the HDD.
