[SOLVED] ASUS TUF monitor and Xbox one X

I have set my Xbox to 120hz, and I have the VG249 Asus TUF 144hz monitor but it seems to be staying at 60hz. So do I need a HDMI 2.0? I want to utilize the 120hz it’s capable of but obviously I can’t use a display port. I’m only using 1080p!

its very possible the HDMI cable you are using isnt able to carry 1080p 120hz

you need a hdmi 1.4 cable to be able to use 1080p 120hz
