I am waiting to see the Maximus VIII Formula. Probably coming within the next few months considering that Skylake is not even available to buy yet.

The Maximus Vii Impact was a beautiful board. My only problem was that Haswell's life cycle was mostly over, and Z97 didn't really have great M.2 support. Not like there were a lot of M.2 PCiE SSDs running at 3.0 x4 to choose from; the only one is Samsung's SM951, and that has no NVME (the refreshed version does, but haven't seen it on the shelf just yet.). I hope Bitspower makes a full cover block for it though.

Lots to look forward to with the ASUS lineup - I myself am a fan of their Sabertooth series though I am not sure if it will be present in this next chip gen. Time will tell, will definitely be time to upgrade with 4.0 ghz stock clock to manipulate
