Asus USB PORTS NOT WORKING!!!

Hi, I have an Asus ux310uqk, i recently opened up the laptop to see if there was an extra ram slot and there was, after I had confirmed it I screwed the back plate back together, but now my two usb 2.0 ports aren´t working. I´ve tried everything nothing seems to work. Please help me solve this problem.

Remove your battery, then hold down the power button for 30 seconds. That should discharge the capacitors and make them work again, hopefully.
