Question Asus UX330ua speaker audio problem

Hi guys I'm having a problem with my speaker audio on my laptop. I can listen to sound when I plug in aux but whenever I unplug it my laptop fail to play speaker audio. There's nothing wrong with hardware and I know it has to do with something in software. I tried troubleshooting with Microsoft troubleshooter and also tried going to Device Manager to uninstall audio drivers. I tried checking for disabled sound devices hidden/shown and that's not it either. I also tried downloading audio drivers from support Asus website but that didn't work either. I can't contact Asus for support since my serial number is smudged on the sticker. I'm using Realtek High Definition Audio. I'm stumped as to what's going on.

First make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop. Are you referring to the speakers on the laptop itself or are you connecting a powered/amplified speaker to the laptop via the unified(audio out and mic) analog audio connector?

You might want to also reinstall the audio drivers found on Asus's support site. Also, which version of Windows are you on?
