My set up: Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP 1.35 at 1600MHz, Pentium G3258 and ASUS VANGUARD B85.

The UEFI BIOS allows for a maximum 1400 Mhz ram speed. It should be at least 1600.
All 3 components ( MB, ram and microProc ) support higher RAM speeds, above 1866, in other setups.
( eg. Vanguard + i5 or Z97 MotherBoard + Pentium G3258, etc )
My BIOS is up to date. Any solution or work-around to alter bCLK, or mem multiplier?

Thank you

Intel Pentium G3258
Memory Types DDR3-1333, DDR3L-1333 @ 1.5V

Pentium G3258 doesn't run at 1600MHz unless you are overclocked. Since the ASUS Vanguard B85 is a business computer, it is not much of an overclocker.

You wrote, "All 3 components ( MB, ram and microProc ) support higher RAM speeds, above 1866, in other setups." I don't agree with that statement. As listed above, the Pentium G3258 supports DDR3-1333, DDR3L-1333 @ 1.5V. 1600MHz is about tops for it when overclocked.

Also, motherboard specs:
Supports DDR3 1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Due to Intel® chipset limitation, DDR3 1600 MHz and higher memory modules on XMP mode will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR3 1600 Mhz.
