Asus VE247H speakers

So, i got this new monitor Asus VE247H. I'm impressed. I love it. But these speakers are terrible. Sounds like a radio from the 1940's. or a cell phone on speaker. Are they that bad or i just got a bad one. Anybody else say from ownership? I'm going to end up buying a set of speakers either way. But i just want to be sure. Thanks!

Speakers built into monitors have always generally been terrible ( you can extend that to LED TV's as well). It has to do with the space constraints that they have to fit them into.
