I have 2 monitors, both running at 144hz (well, they were) and my ASUS one will not detect a DisplayPort signal. HDMI works, and I have tried every combination of cables and ports possible with DisplayPort, but nothing works. I have tried power cycling the monitor per a solution I found after Googling the problem, but to no avail.
Here's what I'm working with: View: https://imgur.com/0FGUegd

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your GPU drivers? Have you also tried working with the Asus monitor as the main display on the cable that is know to deliver 144Hz at 2560 x 1440? Often times cables can end up being faulty or that the drivers update incorrectly. Speaking of drivers, which version of the OS are you on?

For added measure, list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

and make sure you're on the latest BIOS for your motherboard.

Hi, I did this to get my DP wokring again:
  • Using HDMI to get into BIOS and disable Fast boot
  • Using HDMI to get into Windows (Safe Mode) and uninstall the Nvidia drivers using DDU
  • Turned off FreeSync and DDC/CI on my monitor
  • Disconnect the HDMI and use only DP
At this point it still didn't work, even after restart, but then:
  • Reset the my motherboards (MSI) CMOS by pressing the reset CMOS button on the back of my monitor
  • Booted up my computer again and I had signal again and image on my monitor using DP.
Hope it helps!
