[SOLVED] ASUS VG248 need to buy new cables

Hi guys, I've had my ASUS VG248 monitors for a couple of years now. Through "upgrading" my PC I seemed to have misplaced the cables that came with it. I'm trying to get my 144hz option back but I'm currently connected through an HDMI cable and from what I've read won't get me the 144hz. So I'm wondering if anyone can give me links to the cables that I need to get the 144hz option back. Thanks!

Would also like to add that I've looked it up and read something about needing a display port but I'm not very smart with computers and don't want to waste money on buying the wrong thing through my own research. Basically I don't trust myself LOL

Check the pinned thread, section 3.3 is about how to select a DisplayPort cable.

For up to 1080p 144 Hz, any DisplayPort cable will work.
