I just got this 144Hz monitor. I have set windows to display 144Hz, I have also set it in the Nvidia panel. GeForce is displaying that my monitor is 144Hz.
It's definitely not though. In game (Overwatch) with all settings selected to play at 144Hz, I get crazy video lag and tearing. When bumped down to 120Hz in the resolution option, the lag goes away but I still have tearing and it's definitely running 60Hz. Not to mention on the desktop I can tell just by wiggling the mouse or dragging windows around that it's displaying 60Hz.
I have tried it with DP and DVI cable (provided with monitor in box), as well as with and without my secondary monitor active. All graphics drivers are up to date.
