ASUS VG248QE colors

i have heard some many people tell me that the colors are washed out and i do not want that so i need one that does not so am looking for a 120hz or 144hz with 1 or 2 responses time.that is under 260$ also it has to be 24inch and 1920x1080p

The colors look washed out with Lightboost, but not so much without Lightboost. You won't get a better monitor for that price. Colors are not its strong point, but if calibrated, it isn't that bad.

I have the 27" version of the same monitor and I agree with the "washed out" assessment, although this can be mitigated through thorough calibration for the most part. As an alternative, many reviews for the Benq 1080p high-hz monitor have great reviews and supposedly better colour production. Give it a look anyways.

well i just notice my hp w2207h is a TN so i guess i my not notice so much
