So I recently bought the Asus VG248QE which is a 144 hz monitor. I dont think I have it set up to 144 hz as I am having a hard time noticing a difference between my old Acer R240HY which is a 60 hz monitor. Is there anything I can do to set the monitor itself to a 144 hz or something like that? I am also using a Displayport for the Asus and HDMI for the Acer.

Sorry but what do you mean strobelight @ 120 hz? Is that an option I have to go through the actual monitor? If so is that in the MENU button on the monitor itself?

I don't use strobelight because it completely messes up the calibration without being able to change it. I don't see what's wrong with the ''motion blur'' that's in there. However the difference you're supposed to be seeing should be instantaneous. Check your display adapter settings on PC to see what Hz your monitor is running at atleast.

I had no problem with strobelight or the calibration. After connecting the monitor, the first thing I usually do is replace the standard ICC profile. The hardware module in every G-Sync monitor provides strobing via

If i wasn't clear.... the 1st part of the post tells you how to set the hz / the 2nd part is a step further and greatly reduces motion blur. The ICC profile linked is the ICC profile specifically for when you are using the toasty utility.

Me too, but for some reason It's been buggy for me on Windows 10. I've calibrated the monitor manually using Nvidia Control Panel and it looks really good imo, natural. On boot my monitor changes from color 2-3 times, and I have to reactivate Nvidia Control Panel colors again to get my calibration settings back. I'm not sure what's wrong and I haven't found a fix. It doesn't boot at the right calibrated colors, but with washed out ones even with the right ICC profile applied it still changes and I have to redo it everytime. Then booting into the desktop it changes colors again, unusually bright gamma or something, then I re-enable the Nvidia colors and It's back at how It's supposed to be. It's very annoying and only happens when I have the Asus VG248QE plugged into my pc.
