ASUS VG248QE or Acer KG251QF?

Upgrading from a Samsung SyncMaster S24B370 60Hz.

Which monitor would be best? VG248QE or KG251QF?

I would jump to 1440p if I had a higher graphics card (I currently have a GTX 1060), but I'll have to stick with 1080p for now.

I'd pick the Acer. I'm curious though would you want Freesync on your monitor as it's only supported by AMD?
