Asus VIII hero qcode 00 error

Hi all,

First time builder long time learner! I have an issue with my motherboard not posting.

Assembled all pieces yesterday
Asus Maximus VIII hero,
6700k,
2 x 8 GB corsair's vengeance,
H115i aio,
Rm850 x PSU and
Fractal Arc XL.

I have everything together and I'm getting a quote of 00. I don't know what the error is I've read everywhere that it can be multiple things.
So I've tried a few I've
Checked the CPU, CPU pins on the mobo,
Tested the ram,
Tested the PSU(it works with the case),
Tested the 8pin and 24 pin connectors, even swapped out the 8 pin for another cable,
Reset the CMOS and still the error code persists.

If anyone can shed any light I'd be extremely happy and great fun.

Also I've noticed that only three fan headers at the top of the board seem to work all the rest don't seem to work

Hi, Try testing the board outside the case, only CPU and CPU fan connected. See if the radiator fans do spin and if still 00.

Have it that way at the moment. Its still 00.The fans only run connected to the top 3 fan headers

Then it looks like a board issue. Is it new?

Ya I got it yesterday brand new

Supposing that the power supply does work, try RMA-ing the board.
