Question Asus Vivobook fingerprint scanner is very slow ?

Hello,
I have a Asus Vivobook F515 whose fingerprint scanner refuses to recognize my fingerprint for over 20 seconds. At this rate, signing in with a PIN is much faster and easier. Anyway to make fingerprint recognition faster?

Asus Support suggests that you:

Clean the fingerprint scanner

Periodically clean the Fingerprint scanner to remove dirt and oil is helpful to improve the Fingerprint recognition problem:

1. Please use a soft cloth dampened with alcohol to gently wipe the Fingerprint scanner to clean any dirt or smudges.
Note: The soft cloth should not be too wet and do not spray any alcohol directly onto the Fingerprint scanner or leave any liquid on the Fingerprint scanner.

2. Let the Fingerprint scanner dry thoroughly, and then check the Fingerprint recognition function again.
