This is probably going to be a weird question, but I noticed that the motherboard of the TP401MA is very similar to the motherboard on the TP401NA. As an upgrade option do you think that a TP401MA motherboard could fit inside of a TP401NA laptop? This is because the storage on the TP401NA is soldered onto the board via 64 GB eMMC storage with not really any upgradability whilst the TP401MA motherboard allows for installation of SSDs. Also the RAM could be upgraded using a motherboard with a soldered 8 GB

MA

N5000
Intel UHD Graphics 605
1080P screen
-RAM non-upgradeable 4G, 6G 8G options "Regions specific"
-eMMC 64G and 128G
-Can add a SSD "All regions" just not a PCIe NVMe Drive.

NA
N4000 or N4200
Intel HD Graphics 505
768P screen
-RAM non-upgradable 4G, 6G 8G options "Regions specific"
-eMMC 64G and 128G
-SSD option was phased out, lacks the controller and connector.

The boards are swappable but the cost makes it not worth the trouble just to add a SSD. The base MA board is going to run around $125, for the 8gig RAM version you're looking at around $225 since these are far rarer and also region-specific.
