Hello everyone,

First time poster here; hopefully somebody can help me with a problem I have removing a screen from an Asus laptop, the model is an Asus X413FA-EK529T and unfortunately the middle of the screen got cracked making it unusable. I have managed to remove the front bezel without any problems but I cannot remove the shattered screen for the life of me - the display is completely screwless and it seems like it may be glued or bonded to the back plastic panel in some way. I don't want to force the screen away and cause damage to the plastic panel so I was hoping that somebody has had an experience of removing one of these screens.

I have searched high and low online and cannot find another example (even on YouTube). Asus tech support cannot give any more advice other than showing the generic video that shows how to remove a 'standard' screen with the four screws in each corner.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

Josh.
