ASUS VS ASROCK & GIGABYTE

Ive been searching for a while about mobo and people are like more talking that asus has down their quality a lot. Now has a lot of bugs , and dont work more than a couple of years ( are not anymore a long term brand) . On the other hand Asrock has been doing an awesome job and conquisting a lot of people about its features. I know ,also that gigabyte is a good one too. So here it comes> Im planning to buy this ( mainly for gaming )\
processor core i7 3770K / 3820K
ram : hiperX kingstone 16 GB
video . nvidia gygabyte gtx 670
hard disk: barracuda seagate (Xt )3 Tb / 2
Psu: Corsair Hydro H100i Cooler
Shell: Cooler Master Haf XM ATX Mid tower 1
And i dont know which motherboard is better for this components ( a lot of people talk about over clocking , i admit i dont know much about it) So i need your help . WHICH MOTHERBOARD DO YOU THINK WOULD BE THE BEST OPTION FOR THE COMPONENTS ABOVE. If mainly for gaming, I don't consider the socket 2011 CPU/Mobo to be a financially responsible purchase unless going SLI from the start.
I think your PSU choice will work better as a CPU cooler - what do you really intend to power the PC with?
Add an SSD for operating sytem/boot drive, 128GB should be plenty big - you'll thank me
I'd be inclined to go with the Gigabyte board.

Thank you for your answer ,Its my frist time building a pc so i need to read more and take advices from people who have done this before. you say Then the Lga 1155 mobo its better right? I know the 2011 are the newest so i guess a lot more will come and add more features and things. About the mobo I want more the asrock one , have read a few reviews and they seem to work better than the asus. The GIGABYTE its really a good option too. Im waiting for your answer. Ty vm again.

The socket 2011's primary advantage from my standpoint is two PCIe 2.0 lanes at 16x for SLI, no other real advantages. Which is why I said "unless going SLI from the start".
Unless you're looking to SLI, the 750W PSU is overkill, a 500W should suffice. My preference for PSU's has become SeaSonic but Corsair, XFX, Antec are also good brands. When it comes to PSU's, find a review from this guide http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm for any PSU you're interested in, the reviews there are invaluable. I'm going to push this one SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W

I agree with C12Friedman, and I think corsair CX500 would be good enough, and for motherboard I still choose ASrock

and for processor, maybe it depends on what do you use the computer for, because if you choose Intel Core i5-3570K it would save you pretty much and you could spent your money for SSD to boost your speed

I don't know but from what I read, it's better to use SSD from intel or samsung than OCZ

EzioAs (one of the veteran here) choose to use samsung 840 120GB

so I think it's good one, but of course bigger is better because he (EzioAs) has $1000 limitation so he choose 120GB

I think I would stick to Samsung 840 or you could choose intel 330

The truth of the matter is that the differences in speed between the various SSD's are only noticed in benchmarks - in real life use, I can't tell one from another - as far as I can tell my Mushkin is as fast as my Intel 520 - it might not be but I can't tell.

yes, and from what I read here, they're usually suggest samsung 840 or intel 330
for myself, I use intel 330 because there is no Samsung SSD in my country..

That is my understanding also that the 840 is the current king of the heap but, once under the hood, I don't think you'd know which was in there be it Chronos, 520, 840, Vertex 4, Vertex 3, 330 etc. without looking or doing a whole lot of benchmarks

yes, just like I said I just read from here and there,, I never use other SSD than Intel 330 :lol:
but I believe they don't suggest something for nothing
