I need advice as to which 2-in-1 laptop to buy -

I don't have any special requirements for the laptop, just that it will run well with daily activities (Microsoft Office, web browsing and work).
 
The Asus is a larger laptop with better specs.

The Dell is a smaller laptop with weaker specs, but it is lighter and more portable. It also has a longer battery life if that is important as well.

As for what you want to do with the laptop either one is enough since your needs are not very demanding. Since the Asus has a more powerful CPU it can technically last you longer before you feel the laptop is slow and you want a new laptop.
