I'm building a new gaming pc in which I want to stream on I was wondering which graphics card is better the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB SC+ GAMING ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling w/ Free Installed Backplate Graphics Card 06G-P4-4995-KR or the ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 980TI Overclocked 6 GB DDR5 384-bit DisplayPort HDMI 2.0 DVI-I Gaming Graphics Card

I was going to buck the trend here and say that you should go with EVGA as they are such a great company to deal with, but here the asus is a clear winner. The Asus has pretty much better everything, cooling, base clocks/boost speed and overclocking. unfortunately it's pretty massive in comparison and some louder than the evga.

I feel these are good a fair trade off for the advantages mentioned.

Have a look here for the echo of what we have all said.

from my understanding it seems like the asus card has a faster default clockspeed than the evga and both have the same amount and type of GDDR memory so id say get the asus. Plus from my experiance asus cards tend to run cooler. but i might be wrong wait for others to respond to your question but this is my suggestion.

the ASUS is definitely the better pick between those two cards. has a better cooling system, higher clock, better power, probably quieter... STRIX all the way.

of course the Gigabyte model is very nice too, a bit louder but better overclocking...
